Ivanka Trump honors Ivana on anniversary, reflects on family safety
July 14 marked two years since the death of Ivana Trump. Her daughter, Ivanka Trump, honored her late mother on this day by posting a touching message online. She also mentioned the recent attempt on her father Donald Trump's life.

Ivana Trump was Donald Trump's first wife, and they married in 1977. The couple had three children together: Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka. Their daughter recently posted online to remember her mother, who passed away in 2022.
How did Ivana Trump die?
It seemed they had lived in a fairy tale for a long time. They raised their children together and ran businesses that earned them a true fortune. When it was revealed in 1992 that Donald Trump had an affair, Ivana Trump decided to leave him. Her then-ex-husband paid her $25 million, so she didn't have to worry about her finances.
Although it might seem that betrayal is extremely hard to forgive, Ivana Trump seemed to have made peace with the whole situation. Moreover, they always spoke well of each other.
Unfortunately, on July 14, 2022, Ivana Trump was found dead in her apartment on New York's Upper East Side. According to the medical examiner's office, Donald Trump's ex-wife died from injuries to her chest, which she sustained from a fall down the stairs.
Ivanka Trump remembers her late mother
Ivanka Trump is very active on social media. So it is no surprise that on the anniversary of her mother's death, she decided to post an Instagram Story memorializing her.
"Two years ago, my mom passed away. I believe she was watching over Dad last night during the attempt on his life. I miss her every day and pray for the safety of the family and friends she left behind."
Ivanka Trump also shared several archival photographs of herself with her mother.
