The Israeli armed forces did not provide specific details about the attack's location or execution method, only stating it was directed at the Syrian army's infrastructure. These details remain undisclosed per the Israeli news platform, Times of Israel.

According to the UK-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory, the Israeli attack targeted a Hezbollah position in Kanaker, a Syrian city located roughly 15.5 miles from the Israeli border.

In recent times, Israel has executed several operations against various targets in Syria. As noted by the Times of Israel, experts believe that Syria forms a significant part of the supply chain for Iranian weapons for Hezbollah, a group operating in Lebanon. Last Saturday, reports emerged of an attack on ammunition warehouses near Aleppo airport, believed to belong to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
