Israel struck at dawn. IDF is watching Lebanon closely

The Israeli Defense Forces attacked a series of targets belonging to Hezbollah located near the Lebanese-Israeli border at sunrise. One of them is an observation point on the coast, from where anti-tank missiles were fired towards Rosh Hanikra on Wednesday.

Funerals for Hezbollah members are ongoing in relation to the border clashes with Israel in Kherbet Selem on October 18th. Hezbollah supporters are carrying the coffin of a combatant killed yesterday during clashes with the IDF.

After the attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7 and the resulting retaliation by Israel in Gaza, the specter of a second front in this war has increased, as Israel and Lebanese Hezbollah exchanged deadly volleys. Lebanese media reported attacks by IDF, the Israeli Defense Forces, on the towns of Kfarkela and Aadaysit.

Lebanese television station Al-Mayadeen TV reported that on Wednesday evening, an Israeli airstrike targeted a monument to the former commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Qasem Soleimani, near Kfarkela in southern Lebanon. An Israeli airstrike occurred near Naqoura, north of Rosh Hanikra, during the night.

Hezbollah admits to seven attacks on Israel in a single day. Meanwhile, the IDF stated that the attacks were a response to a series of aggressive actions conducted from Lebanese territory to Israel on Wednesday.

Hezbollah has admitted to all intrusions into Israel, including anti-tank missile attacks and firing at soldiers. Armed positions and observational equipment were attacked. The terrorist movement also reported that three of its members were killed on Wednesday.

At dawn, Israel struck Hezbollah's facilities

As reported by "The Jerusalem Post", according to the IDF spokesperson, a terrorist cell was eliminated on Wednesday. This happened after launching mortar shells from Lebanon towards Israel.

On Wednesday afternoon, nine rockets were launched from Lebanon towards Kiryat Shmona. Four of them were intercepted by Israeli defenders. The rest of the rockets fell in open space.

According to Israeli reports, one IDF soldier was wounded as a result of the attacks. Among Hezbollah fighters, the losses are greater, but the party does not provide a specific number of deaths.

In the face of fears that clashes between Hezbollah and Israel may escalate, the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Lebanon has issued an appeal to the kingdom's citizens residing in Lebanon. They were urged to leave the country immediately due to the "current events in southern Lebanon".
