Details of the Israeli raid in Syria

"Our air defenses intercepted the rockets from the Israeli invader, downing some of them. Others only caused material damage," conveyed the source within the Syrian military.

Reuters reports that Israel carried out an air raid on Syria's foremost air defense base in the southern part of the country.

The raids took place the day after the reopening of the international airport in Damascus, which had previously been closed due to multiple Israeli attacks.

For years, Israel has been targeting sites in Syria that it associates with Iran.
