Chevy Chase commenced his show business career in 1975 with the entertainment program "Saturday Night Live". Over the years, he rapidly rose to fame and amassed considerable wealth. By the close of the 20th century, he was being touted as "America's Funniest Man" and received numerous film offers from top Hollywood studios.
