Tehran is issuing threats towards Israel. One of the Revolutionary Guard commanders, Ali Fadavi, conveyed that Iran would not hesitate to fire missiles at Haifa if such an order arose.

During a meeting with university students in Tehran, Fadavi responded to a question about Iran's direct action targeted at Israel.

- If such an order is given, we will strike Haifa - he said.

Fadavi also assured that the effectiveness of the Iron Dome - the Israeli missile interception system - is much lower than reported by the Israeli defense forces, reaching at most 30 percent.

Cited by the Jerusalem Post, Fadavi convinced students that "America created Israel for its own security and it will easily sacrifice it in case of threat."

"Barrel of gunpowder"

Since the time of the ayatollah revolution, Iran has been in conflict with Israel. Therefore, Tehran is not indifferent to the current situation. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister in Tehran, warned of an escalation of the conflict due to the situation in Gaza.

- Today, this region has become a powder keg. (...) I want to warn the United States and the puppet regime in Israel, that if they do not immediately stop crimes against humanity and genocide in Gaza, then everything, at any moment, will become possible, and the situation in the region will spiral out of control - said Amir-Abdollahian.

Iran-backed Hezbollah is also getting involved in the conflict. In recent days, there have been exchanges of fire between Israel and fighters from this Lebanese organization.
