Iranian assault on Israel. Child injured, 200+ missiles intercepted
Most Iranian missiles and drones were intercepted, announced Daniel Hagari, an Israeli spokesman. One of the missiles slightly damaged a military base in southern Israel, while debris from another injured a seven-year-old girl.

Hagari disclosed that Iran launched over 200 projectiles towards Israel, including drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, with the majority being successfully intercepted.
He mentioned that most of the ballistic missiles were intercepted outside Israel's airspace. However, during the attack in the Negev desert, located in the southern part of Israel, a seven-year-old girl sustained injuries from fragments of an intercepted missile, as per medical reports.
Slightly damaged military base
As The Times of Israel reported, another incident resulted in slight damage to the infrastructure of a military base in the southern part of the country.
The Times of Israel initially reported a 10-year-old boy from a Bedouin village near the city of Arad as the first casualty. The report was later updated to focus on the injured girl, who is reportedly in severe condition.
