Iran unleashes 100+ drones on Israel. World leaders unite in condemnation
A tense night unfolded in the Middle East as Iran dispatched over 100 kamikaze drones toward Israel on Saturday evening, sparking a swift international response.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari of the Israeli military broke the news late on Saturday, revealing that the drone assault began just before 6 PM Eastern Time, immediately followed by alarm sirens across numerous Israeli towns.
The global community didn't wait for the explosions to start before expressing their condemnation of the attack.
President Joe Biden of the USA shared, "I just met with my national security team for an update on Iran’s attacks against Israel. Our commitment to Israel’s security against threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad".
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, expressing his disapproval, stated, "I condemn in the strongest terms the Iranian regime's reckless attack against Israel. Iran has once again demonstrated that it is intent to sowing chaos".
"Iran's reckless attacks on Israel will only further inflame tensions in the Middle East. The UK calls on the Iranian regime to stop this serious escalation, which is in no one's interest," reflected the British foreign secretary, David Cameron, on platform X.
"France condemns in the strongest terms the Iranian attack on Israel. By deciding to take such an unprecedented action, Iran is taking a new step in its destabilizing actions and is taking the risk of a military escalation," announced French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné and added, "France confirms its commitment to Israel's security and assures its solidarity".
"The EU strongly condemns the unacceptable Iranian attack against Israel. This is an unprecedented escalation and a grave threat to regional security," commented Josep Borrell, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
"We strongly condemn the ongoing attack, which could plunge an entire region into chaos. Iran and its proxies must stop this immediately. Israel offers our full solidarity at this time," said German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock.
"I strongly condemn the serious escalation represented by the large-scale attack launched on Israel by Iran. I call for an immediate cessation of these hostilities. Neither the region nor the world can afford another war," urged United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on his X profile.
