Sources at CNN have revealed that Iran is repositioning "internal military resources," such as drones and nearly a hundred cruise missiles. This activity suggests that Iran might be gearing up to target Israel directly from its territory.

The purpose behind this mobilization, whether for an initial offensive or in anticipation of retaliating against any Israeli counterstrike, remains uncertain.

CNN has raised concerns that the US is bracing for an Iranian assault on "multiple Israeli locations" and other related targets across the region.
An anonymous US official hinted that various groups backing Iran's aggressive stance towards Israel could partake in any reprisal efforts.

CNN has underscored the severe risk of conflict escalation between Iran and Israel would pose to the entire Middle East.

Iran's threats intensify following consulate attack

The tension heightened after Israel's airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, which resulted in the death of seven Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps members, including two generals overseeing Iran's external military ventures, last week.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, has vowed retribution against Israel. "Our brave men, Our brave men will punish the malicious regime. We will make sure that they repent for this and similar crimes, God willing. We will make sure that they repent for this and similar crimes, God willing," he declared.
