Iran blames US for potential Israeli attack on nuclear sites

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared on Thursday that responsibility for any potential Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear installations will fall on the United States. He also warned that Tehran will take "special actions" to defend its nuclear facilities.

On Tuesday, CNN reported that according to American intelligence, Israel is preparing to strike Iranian nuclear facilities. The Israeli government did not comment on this information.

In recent days, Iran has been critical of the United States' stance, which reiterated the demand for a total ban on uranium enrichment in the Iranian nuclear program.

The US argues that having this capability will allow Iran to continue working on nuclear weapons. However, the authorities in Tehran assure that their nuclear program is purely peaceful in nature.

The fifth round of Iranian-American negotiations on Iran's nuclear program is scheduled to take place on Friday in Rome.
