Ingredients:
Pudding:
- 1.27 cups of milk,
- 1 egg yolk,
- 3 tablespoons of sugar,
- 2 tablespoons of potato starch.
Dough:
- 2 eggs,
- 0.5 cup of sugar,
- 0.42 cup of oil,
- 2.5 cups of wheat flour,
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder.
Additional ingredients:
- 5 halves of peaches in syrup.
Preparation process:
Step 1. Beginning with the homemade pudding, combine the milk, egg yolk, sugar, and potato starch in a pot on the stove. Stir the ingredients with a kitchen whisk, and then heat the mixture until it thickens significantly.
Step 2. In a separate bowl, blend the eggs and sugar together. With a kitchen whisk, combine these ingredients. Thereafter, pour in the oil.
Step 3. Today's work doesn't end there, because we also need to add baking powder and sifted wheat flour to the mixture. Doing this ensures that the cookies will be fluffier.
Step 4. Next, start kneading the mixture. Then split the smooth and uniform dough into two parts. Set aside half of the dough for later. Roll out the other half into a thin flatbread, from which you cut out small circles.
Step 5. Transfer the ready cookies to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. On each dough circle, place a slice of finely chopped peaches.
Step 6. Next, fill a pastry bag with the homemade pudding and distribute it on each cookie.
Step 7. Now is the time to use the set-aside dough. Grate it using a grater with large holes directly onto each cookie.
Step 8. Lastly, put the prepared cookies into a preheated oven for about 20 minutes. The oven should be heated to 392 degrees Fahrenheit. Enjoy!
