Indulge your sweet tooth guilt-free. A low‑calorie tiramisu recipe revealed
Tiramisu is among the most popular desserts from Italy. Traditionally, it's made with cake biscuits, coffee, and a mixture of mascarpone, sugar, and eggs. This mixture, however, tends to be high in calories and may not suit everyone's diet. For those watching their caloric intake, we present a healthier alternative that uses natural yogurt and a sweetener.

Healthy tiramisu: Required ingredients:
- 21.16 oz of natural yogurt (the thicker, the better)
- 6 teaspoons of xylitol or another preferred sweetener
- A few drops of vanilla extract
- 4.94 oz of ladyfingers
- Bitter cocoa
- 4 tablespoons of strong coffee
- Optional: amaretto liqueur
Preparation
- Line a 5.9x7.9 inch pan with parchment paper
- Brew coffee and allow it to cool (ensure the coffee is strong)
- Dip ladyfingers into lukewarm coffee, then layer half of them at the bottom of the pan
- In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt, xylitol, and vanilla extract
- Spread half of the yogurt mixture over the ladyfingers
- Follow with another layer of ladyfingers, then the remaining half of the yogurt mixture
- Refrigerate the dessert for a few hours (best if chilled overnight)
- Dust generously with cocoa before serving
- Optionally, a dash of amaretto liqueur can be added to the coffee
