Rainy season in Indonesia
Java is an island in Southeast Asia, and one of the Greater Sunda Islands. It belongs to Indonesia. The rainy season in this country lasts from October to mid-April. Unfortunately, the country faces the tremendous force of rainfall every year.
In November last year, heavy rain led to floods and landslides in the province of North Sumatra, where at least 20 people were killed. A tragedy also occurred on the road. A mass of sliding mud hit a tourist bus, resulting in nine deaths. At least 10 more people lost their lives in an avalanche at the beginning of December.
