"Tonight, we are witnessing the activity of the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation carrying out strikes using cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shaded type on objects located, among others, in the western territory of Ukraine," reported the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces on platform X.

The communiqué emphasized that all necessary procedures have been activated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace. "The Operational Command is continuously monitoring the situation," it reads.

The Operational Command reminded that this is another situation of this kind. Russian aviation's last activity related to strikes on the territory of western Ukraine was recorded on the night of June 6 to 7.
