Have you ever paid attention to the hangers in public restrooms or hotel bathrooms? If not, you should. These seemingly innocent objects may hide a surprise that might invade your privacy.

When we use a public restroom, we have the right to feel safe and comfortable. The same is true for hotels, which we often pay a substantial amount of money for. Unfortunately, it turns out that even in such places our privacy can be threatened.

Be careful! This is a spy tool

Hangers, which at first glance appear to be ordinary clothes hooks, could in reality be advanced spy devices. Internet users have been warned about this inconspicuous gadget, which is a favorite tool of voyeurs.

At first glance, a hanger seems completely harmless. Its main task is to hold clothes, bags, or jackets. But in reality, it can record our every move, even in the most intimate moments, such as using the bathroom or changing clothes.

How to distinguish a regular hanger from this spy one?

The spy hanger has a characteristic hole, usually at the top. It's a small camera that is activated by a motion sensor. It records everything that happens within its range as soon as we enter a booth/fitting room. Sometimes you can also notice a rectangular flap, under which is a memory card. All recordings are saved on it.

Unfortunately, the production and sale of such devices are completely legal. But spying on and recording random people, especially those who are not fully dressed, is of course a crime. The problem is that such a coat hook with a built-in camera can be installed unnoticed.

That's why it's always worth being alert, especially in public places. If you notice such a hanger, immediately inform the police. Not only will they remove the device, but they may also be able to trace the perpetrator. Remember, your report can help others avoid privacy intrusion.
