Sugary jellies, chocolate bars, unwanted carbs, simple sugars, fast-food items, and sweet fizzy drinks are put on hold. White bread is banished, and fast-food restaurants become out of bounds. Somehow, we manage but then, a piece of chocolate cake comes into view, and our resolve melts away.

Does it always have to be this way? Thanks to the following recipe, we already know this isn't necessarily the outcome. This chocolate cake adheres to the principles of a ketogenic diet. Sugar-free and containing only a minimal level of carbs, it stands toe-to-toe with conventional chocolate cakes in terms of flavor. Its deliciousness, coupled with the peace of mind that you won't be drowned in guilt post-consumption, makes you want to savor it more.

Keto-friendly Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Approximately 0.5 cup of coconut oil,
  • Approximately 2.8 oz of dark chocolate,
  • 5 eggs,
  • A pinch of salt.

  1. Chop the chocolate and combine with coconut oil in a saucepan. Heat these until you get a homogeneous mixture. Allow it to reach a boil, then remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt until smooth. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture while continuously stirring.
  3. Pour the prepared blend into a baking-paper-lined baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 355 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Cut the baked cake into pieces of your preference. If desired, sprinkle them with a ground sweetener and cocoa. Enjoy your guilt-free treat!
