I cooked legs, but not from chicken. Now my fiance asks for them once a week
Chicken thighs are a fairly popular dish served at family gatherings. They taste best when baked so well that the skin is crispy. However, this time I chose a different meat to prepare the thighs. My fiancé loved it so much that he asked when I would make it next time.

It seems that the healthiest poultry is chicken. This opinion has been circulating for many years. You can make a lot of wonderful things with it, and it's always tasty. Now I've reached for a completely different meat, which once reigned on tables, but has now been forgotten. If you silently said to yourself: "definitely goose", you are correct.
Goose meat is really very valuable. It contains a lot of protein and unsaturated fatty acids, which reduce the level of bad cholesterol and blood sugar. In addition to this, they support brain function. That's why I decided to cook goose legs. I had no idea they would be such a hit.
How to make delicious goose legs?
Ingredients:
- four goose legs,
- 6 potatoes,
- 6 cloves of garlic,
- a tablespoon of parsley,
- a tablespoon of lovage,
- a tablespoon of marjoram,
- salt and pepper.
How to Prepare:
- Wash the potatoes and cut into smaller pieces. Lay the vegetables at the bottom of a baking dish. Crush garlic cloves and add them too. Sprinkle the whole with salt.
- Season the goose legs with parsley, marjoram, and lovage. Salt and rub well with all the herbs. You can set the meat aside overnight, but it is equally well suited for baking immediately.
- Place the legs skin down on the potatoes. Cover the heat-resistant dish.
- Set the oven power to 320 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the dish for 4 hours.
- 30 minutes before the end, remove the cover and turn the goose over.
- After such a long baking, the goose legs will be tender and will immediately melt in the mouth. They are perfect as the main course for a family dinner.
