Hyperloop Express Freight. The train accelerates to 766 mp/h
Fast transportation is one of the pillars of humanity. We value mobility and the ability to quickly traverse the globe. One of the projects that really captures the imagination is the Hyperloop Express Freight
Mobility is not only the ability of people to travel around the world but also to transport goods. Hyperloop Express Freight may be the answer to the needs of the development of land transport. As reported by inceptivemind.com, the freight version of the Hyperloop train developed by Hyperloop Transportation Technologies can accelerate up to a speed of 766 mph.
As we read on the HyperloopTT website, the new project presented in the animation is based on four key factors. The creators focused on reducing the cargo loading time, integrating Hyperloop trains with existing infrastructure, optimizing and maximizing the capacity of the capsules, and flexibility, which makes it easier to meet customer expectations.
According to the manufacturer's statement, Hyperloop would be a cheaper method of transporting goods than it is in the case of air and freight transport. At the same time, thanks to the speeds reached, it would be a significantly faster solution, and also more eco-friendly.
The train will load itself
One of the key features of Hyperloop Express Freight is an automated loading system. The capacity of the capsules has been increased by lowering the floor to match the capsules to standard air freight containers. Pocket doors have also been added between the structural ribs, which increases the internal space.
-Hyperloop Express Freight would fundamentally alter the way goods are transported around the world. By incorporating key elements such as fast, automated loading systems, maximized payload, and flexible configurations, we've developed a Hyperloop project optimized for freight transport at unprecedented speeds and at lower rates than currently offered by air and road transport," comments Andres Leon, General Manager of HyperloopTT.
Where will the first Hyperloop be?
In May 2023, the company HyperloopTT won a bid to build the first commercial Hyperloop. It will be built in Italy. The bid was worth around 938 million US dollars. The investment will be created with the financial support of the European Union.
