The woman was in shock when she saw a toddler on her balcony. The cat must have been wandering the streets for a long time, it was emaciated and dirty. Seeing large, dark eyes, Isabelle decided to help the hungry animal. After all, she was the owner of several cats and in her free time, she helped at a local shelter.
She poured dry cat food into a bowl, and then carefully put it out the window, trying not to scare the animal. The lost kitten quickly devoured almost the entire portion. The frightened cat kept watching the apartment's tenants.
Nobody was looking for him
Isabelle thought that the dirty and hungry kitten surely longed for a life like her pets. Eventually, she gently opened the balcony door. The black-and-white baby did not run away, nor was he afraid of the woman. He waited to see what would happen next. Isabelle picked up the cat and brought him inside. She made a cozy spot in the apartment with fresh water, food, and blankets.
She then began to look for the purr's owner. She asked neighbors and locals, unfortunately, no one was looking for a black and white cat. The little one must, therefore, have been homeless or wandered from afar. Isabelle knew that with her bunch of animals, she would not be able to give the stray the proper attention, so she decided to take the next step.
She asked for help from the foundation for cats
Although it was hard for Isabelle to part with the little one, she knew that the local shelter staff would quickly find a suitable caretaker. It turned out that the kitten is about four months old. She was also given a name at the center - Typia. Unfortunately, another challenge was ahead of the animal. Due to stomach issues, the vet recommended appropriate treatment and a balanced diet.
The cat quickly gained weight and soon regained her full strength. Typia also stole the hearts of the shelter employees. Initially a fearful cat, she eventually began to seek out people. This resulted in her finding a new home in a short time. Typia moved in with her new owner and her cats.
- Typia loves to be petted and begins to purr as soon as we hug her. She likes when we scratch her behind the ear, and if she wants more cuddles, she looks at us with sad eyes - the caretaker noted in an interview with lovemeow.com.
This moving story shows that every animal deserves human help. If it weren't for Isabelle's intervention, it's uncertain what the future would have held for the little kitten, who can now enjoy a joyful and peaceful time with a loving family.
