Before Donald Trump’s appearance, former wrestler Hulk Hogan spoke on stage. “What happened last week when they took a shot at my hero, and they tried to kill the next President of the United States. Enough is enough,” Hogan shouted, tearing off his shirt.

During the final day of the National Republican Party Convention, 70-year-old Hulk Hogan took the stage. He began his speech by commenting on the energy in the arena. “When I came here tonight, there was so much energy in this room, I thought maybe I was in Madison Square Garden getting ready to win another title,” he said.

A spectacular show of respect

The athlete then addressed the Saturday attack on Donald Trump. “As an entertainer, I try to stay out of politics. After everything that’s happened to our country over the past four years, and everything that happened last weekend, I can no longer stay silent,” he said.

“I'm here tonight because I want the world to know that Donald Trump is a real American hero, and I'm proud to support my hero, the next president of this United States,” Hogan added.

“What happened last week when they took a shot at my hero, and they tried to kill the next President of the United States? Enough is enough. Let Trumpmania rule again! Let Trumpmania make America great again!” Hogan shouted, then tore off his shirt. Underneath, he wore a red sleeveless shirt with the names Trump and J.D. Vance, the candidate for vice president.

The wrestler called Trump “the biggest patriot” and said, “he's always told you exactly what he thought, and he still does, brother!”

Hogan also referred to the recent court rulings against the former president. “They've thrown everything at Donald Trump, all the investigations, the impeachments, the court cases, and he's still standing and kicking their butts,” the athlete said.
