Heart disease is one of the most common causes of death. A key element of heart attack prevention is diet. Dr. Jeremy London, a cardiothoracic surgeon, explained which products to avoid.

Exclude from your diet to protect yourself from heart disease

Dr. Jeremy London is an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon who shares his knowledge via TikTok. In one of his recordings, he explained which products should be excluded from the diet to avoid straining the heart.
One of the first products mentioned was alcohol. The doctor stated that alcohol is "absolutely toxic to every cell in our body." This applies to both those who abuse alcohol and those who consume it only occasionally.
Also on the list were sugary drinks and non-alcoholic beers. Dr. London called them "liquid death" due to their high sugar content and dangerous substances that are officially recognized as highly toxic in some countries.
Fast foods came in third place. It is well known that regular consumption of processed foods leads to obesity, which in turn leads to heart problems. This is not the end of the bad news. Fast food contains lots of salt, sugar, and trans fats that "clog your veins and arteries." The doctor emphasized that consuming them once in a while does not have serious consequences, but they should not form the basis of your diet.

We eat this almost every day, but it seriously harms health

Milk, yogurt, buttermilk, or kefir are healthy, low-calorie products rich in essential calcium. Many of us consume them daily. However, the doctor says they do not always positively affect heart function.
