Ingredients:
Chicken:
- 2 chicken breast fillets,
- 1 tablespoon of lemon zest,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of dried onion,
- 1 tablespoon of dried jalapeno chili,
- 1.5 teaspoons of sweet paprika,
- 1 tablespoon of sugar,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil.
Marinade:
- Approximately 1.7 ounces of butter,
- 1 tablespoon of honey,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 3/4 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper,
- Juice of 1/2 lemon.
Preparation:
Step 1. Begin by washing, cleaning, and drying the chicken breasts. Then cut them into small pieces.
Step 2. Transfer the cut chicken to a bowl. Then add vegetable oil, grated lemon zest, jalapeno chili, dried onion, sweet paprika, crushed garlic, sugar, and salt. Mix these ingredients thoroughly, to create a perfect balance of flavors. Allow the meat to marinate for about 20 minutes.
Step 3. In another bowl, prepare a second marinade. For this, combine butter, honey, crushed garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Place this mixture into a microwave for one minute, then stir the contents well.
Step 4. Return to the marinated meat. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, aiming to have about 8-10 pieces per skewer.
Next, place the skewers into a fryer for 10 minutes. The fryer should be set at a temperature of 338 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 5. After 10 minutes, brush the second marinade onto the partially cooked skewers. An ordinary kitchen brush is ideal for this task. Continue to fry the skewers for a further 5 minutes.
Step 6. Once cooked, serve your skewers garnished with chopped parsley and red pepper. Enjoy!
