Shooting in Houston laundry room: three teenagers dead
Alvaro Guzman, the local deputy police chief, told the media that two unidentified men were in the laundry room when a group of other people arrived. A quarrel ensued, and the two suspects fled the scene of the shooting. They are still at large.
"The only thing we know is that some kind of dispute occurred, leading to the shooting between two parties. As a result, three people died. It's a huge tragedy. We have their family members here. These are young lives that were lost. If you can, please pray for them," said Guzman.
A weapon was found in the laundry room, and the police are currently taking action to capture the suspects. "At the moment, all we know is that everyone present at the scene was likely underage boys of Hispanic origin. The two individuals sought by authorities are also of Hispanic descent. They are mature teenagers or very young adults," Guzman added.
According to a report from the local television station KHOU, many officers were working at the scene. The laundry room is regularly used by residents of the apartment complex in the area.
"These rooms are separate from the apartments. It's just a common laundry room for everyone," explained Guzman.
