- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2/5 cup of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of honey
Punch:
- 1 cup of tea
Apple Mousse:
- 2.2 lbs of apples
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 strawberry jello packets
Cream Filling:
- 3 cups of milk (1 cup for pudding)
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 cream pudding packets
- 7 oz of soft butter
Other Ingredients:
- 14 oz of toffee filling
- Almond flakes for sprinkling
Preparation Method:
Step 1. Peel and dice the apples. Melt butter in a pot, add the fruit, and sauté until soft. Then add strawberry jello, mix, and set aside to cool.
Step 2. Sift the cake flour into a bowl, add the baking soda and soft butter, and knead the dough. Add sugar, eggs, and liquid honey. Once the ingredients are combined, divide the dough into two parts.
Step 3. Line the bottom of a baking sheet approximately 11x7 inches with parchment paper. Spread one part of the dough on the lined sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. Repeat with the second part of the dough.
Step 4. Dissolve the pudding in 1 cup of milk, then boil the remaining milk. Pour in the dissolved pudding and cook until thickened. Set aside to cool. Beat the butter with a mixer, gradually adding the cooled pudding.
Step 5. Spread half of the pudding cream on the baked layer. Add the prepared apples and the remaining pudding cream.
Step 6. Place the second layer of cake on top and soak it with tea. Spread the toffee cream and sprinkle with almond flakes. Refrigerate the cake overnight. The next day, cut the honey cake with apples into pieces. Enjoy!
