As for those who are interested in the electric model e, they will no longer find it on the brand's official configurators. The reason is straightforward - Honda has chosen to discontinue the small electric vehicle in Europe. The company's representatives confirmed this decision in conversations with "Top Gear" and "Automotive News Europe".

Interestingly enough, Honda states that its small urban car fulfilled its role, "drawing in new customers with its unique design, cutting-edge technology, and the brand's classic driving dynamics."

But why was the decision to discontinue it made? The sales data provide the answer. There weren't many takers for the car, which is not surprising. The price, which is more than around $39,055, ith a claimed range of 220 km (about 136 miles), and its small and impractical body resulted in a very niche audience for the vehicle.

The situation wasn't redeemed by the excellent design and well-crafted interior. Those interested in a fully electric Honda will now have to consider the SUV e:Ny1. Unfortunately, this model also comes with a steep price tag, starting from approximately $57,235.
