It's long been known that the shorter the ingredient list, the better. The same principle applies to this delicious homemade pistachio ice cream. Just three simple ingredients provide a rich flavor and a satisfying treat. Additionally, they are packed with nutrients and high-quality protein. Nutritionists often recommend making homemade ice cream with natural yogurt, and this recipe follows that advice. Pistachios offer numerous health benefits, including Vitamins E, B6, and C, as well as potassium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, and folic acid. Like most nuts, they are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

One significant advantage of this dessert is that it doesn't take much time to prepare. What more could you want? Let's get started.

As mentioned, this healthy dessert requires only three simple ingredients. Their combination guarantees an unforgettable taste experience while eliminating guilt.

Ingredients:

  • 1.2 oz unsalted pistachios
  • 8.8 oz natural yogurt
  • 1.5 teaspoons honey

Optional: dark chocolate or berries for garnishing.

Preparation method:

  2. Add the natural yogurt and honey to the blender and blend into a smooth mixture.
  3. Finely chop the reserved pistachios and add to the ice cream mixture, then mix thoroughly.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a tightly sealed container and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Serve the dessert topped with dark chocolate or berries.
