Cleaning a baking sheet is not one of the most pleasant tasks. Burnt food residues and stubborn dirt create an unsightly layer that requires patience and the right methods to remove. Home remedies come to the rescue, which are not only cheap but also effective.

Baking soda paste

Many products can help maintain order in the home. Some people, instead of reaching for specialized agents, use what they already have at home. In addition, homemade solutions successfully deal with even very persistent dirt. This is also the case with the baking sheet.

To get rid of burnt food and dirt, it's worth using a baking soda paste. To prepare it, you need about 3.4 ounces of hot water, 4 tablespoons of baking soda, and a few drops of dish soap.

All the ingredients should be combined into a uniform mass and then spread over the entire surface of the baking sheet with a sponge. After about 30 minutes, it can be washed with hot water and dish soap. There should be no trace of the dirt. However, if not everything has been removed, it is worth repeating the process.

Baking soda combined with salt is another way to tackle stubborn dirt. To use this method, sprinkle a dirty baking sheet with them, then place it in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Once it cools, rinse it with water and dish soap.

This method is particularly recommended for its simplicity and the availability of ingredients. Baking soda and salt handle even the toughest stains, making cleaning the baking sheet less time-consuming.
