I've always believed that most breakfast ideas described online by popular nutritionists, celebrities, singers, and actors are wishful thinking for most of us. Blending red onions and peeled garlic cloves, and then mixing them with avocado to create guacamole is great—but I can only find time to prepare it in the morning at most once a week. On other days, I need something much simpler and faster, yet still tasty and nutritious. Sticking to this principle finally led me to granola.

What is granola? A mix of baked nuts, flakes, and dried fruits. In other words, it is a nutritious combination of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals that ensure a long-lasting feeling of fullness and a powerful boost of essential morning energy. For breakfast, you only need to pour a handful of granola with milk or yogurt (or Skyr and other similar products) to get a valuable meal that will effectively set you up for a good part of the day.

Discovering granola was a game-changer for me. The problem was that I was always not too fond of the ingredients of store-bought mixes. So, I decided to make my own homemade mix, and I found the perfect recipe on the portal jadlonomia.com. Now, I make it regularly, store it in a jar, and have a supply for two weeks. I recommend you do the same!
