How can you bake the best holiday cupcakes?

Whether you're making muffins or holiday cupcakes, they should add a pop of color to your holiday table. Mix different flavors and colors, experiment with bold decorations, and have fun baking these pastries. Cupcakes are not only delectable treats but also a delightful way to get the kids involved in preparing festive meals.

What should you keep in mind while baking holiday cupcakes? It's important to remember not to take them out of the oven immediately after baking. This can cause them to fall, so it's best to let the cupcakes cool in the oven with the door slightly open. Also, avoid overmixing the batter as this might cause the cupcakes to deflate during baking. For fluffy cupcakes, you can add a splash of carbonated water to the batter.
