HiPhi A: China's electric marvel with 1300 HP set to steal the spotlight
Every day brings a fresh revelation from the Chinese automotive industry. The latest novelty, HiPhi A, appears to outdo all prior electric vehicles one has seen.
HiPhi A is slated to be one of the foremost attractions at the upcoming Guangzhou Auto Show. It's created as a sportier alternative to the well-reputed Z model, stepping it up with its unique look and phenomenal performance.
Hidden under its futuristic-looking body there are three electric motors. One motor powers the front axle while the other two are responsible for the rear. Collectively, they produce a staggering 1300 horsepower, stimulating a 0-60 mph time in just under 2 seconds and a remarkable top speed of about 186 mph.
The 800-volt architecture significantly stands apart with its swift charging time and superior efficiency, suggesting a substantial, yet undisclosed range. Further specifics will emerge after the unveiling, with the first units due to hit the market in 2025.
According to the manufacturers, the car triumphs with its ideal 50:50 weight distribution, adjustable suspension, a rear-wheel steering mechanism, and adaptive dampers.
A notable point of interest is that the car is planned to be accessible not solely in China but will also be introduced in selected European markets.
