All living former presidents attended Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday: George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and the outgoing president, Joe Biden. Also present were Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, who had faced Trump in the 2016 elections.

The former rival of Trump reacted with laughter during his appearance when the 47th president of the USA announced changes to geographical names.

The president announced the restoration of the former name of the highest peak in America in honor of President William McKinley, under whose administration the construction of the Panama Canal began.

Donald Trump also announced plans to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico.

- In a short time from now, we will be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the American Gulf, - Donald Trump stated.

At that moment, Hillary Clinton burst into laughter. The former Secretary of State tried to hide her face, but she couldn’t conceal her amusement. Everything was caught on camera.

Trump first mentioned his plan to change the name of the gulf at the beginning of January. He then stated that the "American Gulf" sounds "beautiful," reports the TMZ portal.

The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, later joked about Trump’s plan, suggesting renaming North America "Mexican America," as this area was called in 1810.
