Flight number EZY8054 from Tenerife to London was supposed to take place on Sunday, October 15th. However, due to a shocking situation, passengers had to leave the plane, and the flight departed the next day.

Unlucky flight

Aaran Gedhu, a passenger flying to London's Gatwick, admitted in an interview with CNN Travel, that problems arose at the airport, when the original plane was switched to a smaller one. This meant that some of the tourists couldn't board. As it turned out, those who took their seats on the smaller plane also couldn't count on a smooth flight.

Passengers first waited for the luggage of those who could not fly to be unloaded. The worst, however, happened a little later.

The atmosphere on board was becoming increasingly tense - admitted Gedhu.

The passenger defecated on board

A few minutes before the planned departure, passengers found out that due to the shocking behavior of one of the passengers, the flight was completely canceled. In an official statement, easyJet tactfully explained the situation.

"EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY8054 from Tenerife to London Gatwick was cancelled last night due to the need for additional aircraft cleaning," - we read in a statement from an airline spokesperson. "We would like to apologize to customers for any inconvenience," - it was added.

- An unpleasant smell quickly spread throughout the plane. Some claimed it must have been an accident, but most were very upset. It is unknown why someone evacuated themselves on the floor of the plane's restroom - admitted a passenger during conversation with CNN Travel. After leaving the plane, all passengers were provided accommodation in hotels. They were only able to fly to London the following day.
