HBO is preparing a new series about the fate of Harry Potter and his friends. The actress who played Ginny in the film saga hopes that the plot of her complex relationship with the main character will be more highlighted. Will she once again play the beloved of the young wizard?

"If only we could have five-hour movies..." Bonnie Wright mused on the pages of Variety. Seen in theaters as Ginny Weasley, the actress realizes that such long productions are not the norm, but the series format could be the perfect solution here.

She hopes that the plot of her romance with Harry Potter will get more attention. She regrets that the stories, which only readers of the books had a chance to get to know, remain a mystery for the rest.

There’s nuanced moments of where they begin to fall in love. I think more of that arc of her character becoming this real loyal sidekick to Harry and how she really understands and knows his story and who he is and is the best partner for him. So I just hope we see that evolution of that character — and so many characters. If only we could have had five-hour movies. There are so many characters that have moments I love from the books — Neville and Luna — so I’m hoping as a fan of the books that I get to see more — she declared.

firm words from the film's Harry Potter. He will not appear in the series

The artist did not rule out participation in the HBO series, which promises to be a big hit. However, Daniel Radcliffe categorically denied that he would appear on set. He would refuse even if the producers offered him just a cameo role.

In an interview with E! News, the 35-year-old revealed that he can't wait for the new installment of the story conceived by J.K. Rowling but prefers to watch it as a viewer.

It's very wise that the creators want a clean slate — he concluded.

Finding such a distinctive trio (Harry, Hermione, and Ron) will undoubtedly be difficult, but the production has already announced auditions. Rumor has it that Toby Woolf will be hired for the first two parts, where the characters are the youngest. The premiere is scheduled for 2026. Are you excited, too?
