Haydn Gwynne passed away on October 20. The actress, known among others from "The Crown", was 66 years old. It turned out that Gwynne had heard about her cancer diagnosis just a month ago.

The news of the death of 66-year-old Haydn Gwynne was given by her agent in a statement to the BBC. "With great sadness, we share with you the news that after a recent cancer diagnosis, stage and screen star Haydn Gwynne passed away in the hospital in the early morning on Friday, October 20, surrounded by her beloved sons, close family, and friends. We would like to thank the staff of the Royal Marsden and Brompton hospitals for their wonderful care over the last few weeks" - we read.
Gwynne began her career in the 80s. However, she became most known to audiences for her roles in productions related to the British royal family. She played Camilla, wife of King Charles, in the comedic drama series "The Windsors," which depicts a distorted version of the royals. She also appeared in the 5th season of "The Crown," a major Netflix hit. There she played the role of one of Queen Elizabeth II's court ladies, Lady Susan Hussey.
BBC reported that Gwynne was to star in the musical "Old Friends", but she withdrew last month. Filming for the new season of "The Windsors" was also set to begin in the fall. The actress leaves behind two sons, whom she had with her partner Jason Phipps.
