Kamala Harris has accepted an invitation from CNN to meet with undecided voters in Pennsylvania in a town hall format, her campaign reported. Donald Trump has once again refused to participate in further debates, also rejecting a proposal from the right-wing Fox News.

The Vice President will meet with voters on October 23 in a live CNN program. Trump may want to hide from voters, but Vice President Harris is pleased to have the opportunity to share her vision for a new path for the country. She welcomes CNN's invitation to the live town hall meeting on October 23 in Pennsylvania, said Harris's campaign manager, O’Malley Dillon.

Trump refuses once again

CNN originally planned to organize another debate between the candidates. However, after Donald Trump rejected the proposal, they decided to invite them to separate meetings where they would have the opportunity to answer voters' questions. Trump's campaign has yet to respond to CNN's renewed offer.

On Wednesday night, Donald Trump categorically ruled out participating in further debates, claiming that he "has already won two debates" and is leading in the polls.

"It is very late in the process, voting has already begun - there will be no rematch!" wrote the former president on his social media platform. This was a response to yet another invitation from Fox News for a debate.

Previously, Trump also declined a pre-election interview on the program "60 Minutes," breaking a 50-year tradition of such interviews.

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are set to participate in a town hall (which allows questions from the audience) hosted by the Spanish-language network Univision. Harris will appear on Thursday in Las Vegas, and Trump is scheduled to appear on the program on October 16.
