Harley's Hydra-Glide Revival: A Nod to 1950s with Modern Flair
Marking a significant highlight in H-D's recent ventures, the Icons project has introduced notable limited-edition models, including the Electra Glide Revival, Low Rider El Diablo, and Electra Glide Highway King. Now in its fourth year, the project celebrates its fourth Icon, the Hydra-Glide Revival. This model pays homage to the 75th anniversary of the Hydra-Glide telescopic front suspension, introduced in 1949 to the Harley-Davidson E and F models, revolutionizing riding comfort.

Reflecting the 1950s Milwaukee motorcycle heritage, the modern Hydra-Glide Revival dazzles in Redline Red with a Birch White stripe running along the fuel tank sides, a nod to the 1956 design. Chrome "Harley-Davidson V" badges, mirroring those from 1955-56, adorn the tank, while the speedometer design echoes a component from 1954-55.
The motorcycle features a 21-inch red windshield at its base, complementing the lush paintwork. Chrome generously highlights the front suspension, exhaust, and engine, extending to the classic, round air filter and spoked rims that underpin the nostalgically styled fenders.
The highlight, however, is the fringed leather seat and matching bags, sporting chrome concho with an acrylic red interior, chrome studs, fringes, white piping, and contrasting red stitching. Despite their vintage look, these accessories are lockable, waterproof, and designed for longevity. A matching leather strap also graces the fuel tank.
Under the hood, the Hydra-Glide Revival roars with the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine (114 cubic inches), with Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle performance kits available for those craving extra power. Despite its retro aesthetics, the bike boasts modern features like adjustable rear suspension and an LED headlight, complete with cruise control.
Limited to just 1,750 units worldwide, the Harley-Davidson Hydra-Glide Revival comes with a price tag of 35,220 euros in Poland, approximately over $38,000.
