Harlan Coben's 'Just One Look' to kickstart 2025: A suspense treat from Netflix Poland

At the beginning of the year, Netflix unveiled "The Stranger," marking the seventh adaptation of Coben's creative works. In 2018, the author inked a deal with Netflix, envisioning the collaborative development of 14 projects with Coben as Executive Producer. He's in charge of upholding the characteristic suspense and intrigue of his novels in the productions.

"The Stranger" has been accumulating positive viewer feedback. This is not necessarily due to its surprise factor but more because it consistently delivers the "Coben" benchmark in creating suspense, plot twists, and engaging the spectator in an intricate game of cat and mouse.

The author recently revealed that two more series are slated for creation under his patronage in 2024.

We're currently working on a project in Poland titled "Just One Look," in combination with Netflix Poland. Another project is in the pipeline for South America," he revealed on "Radio Times."

"Just One Look" is a 2004 novel. The story unfolds when Grace, the protagonist, stumbles upon an unfamiliar, bizarre photograph while skimming through a family album. The snapshot includes a woman with a defaced image and a man strongly resembling her spouse. He angrily leaves the house when she questions him about the photo and subsequently gets kidnapped, leaving the wife to initiate her investigation.

"Just One Look" will be the third Polish adaptation of Coben's criminal dramas, following "The Woods" in 2020 and "Stay Close" in 2022. The author has an anticipated premiere date for the forthcoming series.

"We're targeting our launch for New Year's Day in 2025 so that everyone can enjoy the show during their New Year's Day recovery," announced Harlan Coben.
