It was supposed to be a standard trip to music festival. Tragically, it was brutally disrupted. As reported by Die Welt, approximately 260 participants were murdered by Hamas militants. The remaining attendees were taken hostages. Among those captured are Nora and Avinatan. The man's sister has agreed to speak with the media.

"Tell them to send soldiers here immediately"

On Saturday, October 7, before 4 am Eastern Time, a friend of Avinatan received a disturbing message: "Tell them there's a group of 20 people here, murdering everyone they find." "Tell them to send soldiers here immediately," reads the next one. Later, Avinatan sent five more messages, in which he begged for help. From their content, it was evident that he was hiding with his girlfriend from terrorists. Unfortunately, the couple was kidnapped, and the recording of the action was publicized on social media.

The association Christians on Israel's Side has made contact with the sister of the man taken hostage. Tomer Or is in Israel, and she has agreed to have a conversation about the kidnapping of her brother and his girlfriend.

"Early in the morning, the first rumors of terrorists on Israeli soil appeared. We didn't know how many there were or what exactly was happening. Several hours later, my oldest brother got into the car and headed south to fight against Hamas. Along the way, he received a phone call; a friend saw a video on Instagram showing the abduction of our brother Avinatan and his girlfriend" - a woman recounts in a conversation with a journalist from Die Welt.

The Avinatan family was expecting the worst. The man's sister mentioned that she had seen her brother a few days earlier. She admitted that she wasn't able to watch the video of the kidnapping.

First there was a movie on the network. They had to wait for a message from the military

Tomer Or emphasized that the authorities of Israel did not contact her family.

- Until this morning, we didn't have any official information, just a video on Instagram. Then we got a message from the military: they said that our brother had been kidnapped. That's all we've heard so far - she added.

In the later part of the conversation, the woman admitted that she wants to believe that her brother will survive. However, she claims that the chances are slim. She also suspects what the next steps of the terrorists might look like.

- They will likely try to negotiate the highest price for the kidnapped people. And even if Hamas wants to allow people to live, there are plenty of civilians in the Gaza Strip who would rather see them dead - remembered in conversation.
