GTA 6 publisher: "Our prices are still very, very low"
Head of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, emphasizes that the gaming industry "offers consumers an excellent price-to-value ratio." Is the era of cheap games coming to an end?

During an investors' conference, Zelnick stated that games are priced very reasonably when considering the hours of entertainment they provide for their cost. It's common knowledge among gamers that top titles are adventures lasting dozens, if not hundreds, of hours. The price-to-content ratio seems to favor this form of virtual entertainment.
"If you consider the standard, our prices are still very low because we offer many hours of engagement, and the value therein is extremely high. I believe the industry as a whole offers consumers an incredible price-to-value ratio", said Strauss Zelnick.
Zelnick also noted that game creators don't raise prices as frequently as other entertainment providers like Netflix. The reason is straightforward: the gaming industry follows its own pricing rules. In the context of pricing, it's worth mentioning another statement by the CEO of Take-Two. His comments suggest that even if we extensively incorporate AI in games, we should not expect "prices to drop".
Take-Two and Rockstar Games are hot topics for gamers following the official announcement of GTA 6. The first official materials are expected to be released in December. Gamers are eagerly awaiting more details about the new GTA release.
