A plane, carrying a pilot and two passengers on board, made an emergency landing in the city center of Villejuif, near Paris. Described as an exceptional occurrence by the Paris Fire Brigade, the incident is quite rare.

The aircraft, navigating between Rouen and Toussus-le-Noble, was forced to make an unscheduled landing in a garden behind a residential building in Villejuif on Monday afternoon. The timing of the incident was approximately 11 AM Eastern Time. To be precise, the touchdown happened "on the roofs of underground car parks," according to Gaëlle Leydier, the deputy mayor of Villejuif who was incidentally present at the site. This collision caused significant damage to the airplane's cabin.

Francebleu.fr reported that an 82-year-old flight instructor and two students, aged 28 and 29, were present in the plane at the time of the accident. It's still uncertain who was at the helm during the incident. In the immediate aftermath of the crash, all three individuals involved were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals. This was confirmed by Pierre David, the spokesperson for the Paris Fire Brigade.

Fabien, a local resident, told BFM TV, "I was smoking a cigarette at the kitchen window when I saw the plane descending incredibly slowly. Ten seconds later, I heard a loud bang."

A video showcasing the damaged aircraft, with its broken wings and tail, has since circulated widely on social media. Responders from the local firefighting unit on the scene considered it miraculous that none of the three individuals on board sustained life-threatening injuries.
