Drinking natural juices is a great way to deliver nutrients and take care of your health. We most often choose fruity ones, as they are tasty and usually sweet (sometimes they can be sour or more bitter). Few people know that vegetable juices are less caloric, and cabbage juice is rich in vitamins and minerals.

White cabbage is a product that we use very often in the kitchen. Without it, there would be no stuffed cabbage or hunter's stew. It works great as an ingredient for stuffing dumplings or croquettes with cabbage and mushrooms. We can also prepare sauerkraut from it, which has many nutritional properties. However, few people have any idea that we can make a healthy and nutritious juice from white cabbage. My grandmother drank it every day and rarely complained about her joints.

Juice from white cabbage helps with many ailments

This vegetable contains many nutrients, we will find in it vitamins (A, C, E, K as well as those from group B, including folic acid) and minerals (manganese, copper, calcium, phosphorus, iron, sulfur and potassium). It is also a source of sulforaphane, indole-3-carbinol and isothiocyanates, which have antioxidant effects.

Cabbage juice detoxifies the body, so it's a great hangover cure. It should be consumed by those suffering from stomach ulcers and inflammatory bowel conditions. It can also help with heartburn and constipation. Moreover, this drink is a natural probiotic that supports gut flora. It also helps maintain healthy blood pressure. Cabbage juice is also a very good choice for those suffering from anemia. It supports brain function. It also has anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties. It's worth mentioning that our grandmothers used cabbage compresses for wounds and bruises. They helped soothe joint pain or breast tenderness during pregnancy.
