Grand Tour's final episode with the iconic trio airs September 13

The latest episode of "The Grand Tour" featuring Hammond, May, and Clarkson will be released on September 13. It's the end of an era, although—as Richard Hammond claims—not the end of the show itself.

It has been known for some time that the iconic trio is parting ways with "The Grand Tour." On September 13, the final farewell episode of the show with the British presenters will be aired. However, Amazon plans to continue the show in the future.

"It will be carrying on," says Richard Hammond in a "Metro" magazine interview. "We’re stepping away as the hosts, but Prime will be continuing it. So I can’t wait to sit on my own chair and watch somebody else do it. That’s amazing," he adds.

It is currently unknown who Amazon plans to replace the legendary presenters explicitly. However, it is known that it won't be easy. It is worth noting that it was similar to "Top Gear," in which other hosts replaced May, Hammond, and Clarkson.

Unfortunately, the new version of the show didn't enjoy the same popularity as the original. So much so that the BBC finally decided to take the program off the air.
