This is not the end of "Game of Thrones". Although the series ended in 2019, work has just started on its second spin-off. What will "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight" tell about?

It's been a year since the finale of the first season of "House of the Dragon," a series set in the world of "Game of Thrones." We already know that the second part has been filmed, and we are most likely to see it in 2024. Such an anniversary is, however, the perfect time to announce work on another project.

The auditions for "Tales from the Seven Kingdoms" have begun

As traced by the Redanian Intelligence service, casting for the main roles in the new series has just been announced. Although it is not stated directly, Casting Director Lucy Bevan ("Barbie") mentioned that this is a new HBO project, and from the description itself, it seems that actors are being sought for roles including Aegon V Targaryen and Duncan the Tall.

For the photos planned for next year, a boy aged 9-10 and up to 54 inches tall is needed. The young actor should have a neutral English accent, fair skin, and blue or green eyes. The second character is very tall (at least 76 inches) and physically strong. The actor should be 18-25 years old, but their ethnic origin does not matter.

"What will the "Tales from the Seven Kingdoms" tell about?"

The spin-off series of "Game of Thrones" will be based on the anthology of stories by George R.R. Martin, which tells about the wandering knight Sir Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg, who later ascends the throne as Aegon V.

"A hundred years before the events of 'Game of Thrones', two unlikely heroes wandered across Westeros… a young, naïve, but brave knight, Ser Dunk the Tall, and his small squire, Egg. In an era when the Targaryen family still sat on the Iron Throne, and memories of the last dragon had not yet faded, great destiny, powerful enemies, and dangerous feats awaited these improbable and unmatched friends" - read in the official description released by Redanian Intelligence.

The screenwriters of "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight" are George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker, the screenwriter of "House of the Dragon". There might be two more productions set in the "Game of Thrones" universe coming our way: one about Aegon I the Conqueror and Jon Snow. However, HBO has not officially confirmed these reports yet.
