No introduction is necessary for Godzilla. As a gigantic kaiju monster, it has become a major part of pop culture since the 1950s. Up to now, 38 films featuring the beast have been made, with 33 hailing from Japan and five from America. The latest from the Land of the Rising Sun, "Godzilla Minus One," is a 15-million-dollar project that seeks to represent Godzilla as it was initially depicted in the original 1954 film.

The plot unfolds just after World War II ends. Japan can find no peace as Godzilla starts terrorizing the nation, seemingly indestructible. The complete English-language trailer, providing a glimpse of the onscreen spectacle, has just been released online. Judging by its initially impressive scale, it’s a must-watch.

Responses to the "Godzilla Minus One" trailer on the movie's official YouTube post have been overwhelmingly positive. Users praised the exceptional special effects and balanced human storylines coupled with terrifying monster scenes. Open admiration for the special effects team was evident, with comments highlighting their ability to create such a spectacle with a budget significantly lower than that of a typical Marvel or DC movie. However, the most resounding point of consensus is how fantastic Godzilla looks in this film.
