Dust settles on furniture, books, and electronic devices, creating an unsightly layer that attracts germs and allergens. The fight against it seems endless, and traditional methods often fail.

Is there a way to deal with this troublesome problem once and for all? It turns out that there is, and you don't need to spend money on specialized products. Just reach for a secret ingredient that you can get at any pharmacy.

What to do so that dust doesn't settle on the furniture?

Dusting is one of those household chores that can effectively put you in a bad mood. Not only does dust appear out of nowhere, but it also seems that the more often you wipe it away, the faster it returns.

Traditional cloths and feathers often only disperse dust instead of removing it, and chemical agents can irritate the skin and respiratory system. Fortunately, glycerin is a natural and effective way to eliminate dust.

How to get rid of dust using glycerin?

Glycerin is a colorless, odorless substance in many cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. Its hygroscopic properties attract and retain moisture, making it an ideal ingredient for fighting dust. Glycerin creates a thin layer on the furniture's surface, preventing dust from settling and making it easier to remove.

Add a few drops of glycerin to warm water, soak a cotton cloth, and thoroughly wipe the furniture. It's a simple way to enjoy a clean and shiny home without constantly dusting.

Another method to get rid of dust is to prepare a solution of 2 cups of vinegar and a lemon or orange peel. Pour the citrus remnants with the liquid, close the container, and let it sit for three days. After that, strain the solution, dilute it with water, and pour it into a spray bottle. Now, spray the furniture and wipe it with a cloth.
