Germany to deploy 4,000 AI‑guided kamikaze drones to Ukraine
Germany will soon begin mass deliveries of kamikaze drones to Ukraine, reports "Bild," citing its sources and Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. This involves 4,000 drones, which are referred to as "mini-Taurus."

Germany is set to commence mass shipments of assault drones manufactured by Helsing to Ukraine, capable of striking targets far from the front line. These drones are compared to the Taurus missiles, which Chancellor Olaf Scholz categorically refuses to supply.
As described by "Bild," the main feature of the drone is its advanced software, which helps it navigate the terrain and resist enemy electronic warfare measures. Once the drone identifies a target and its operator confirms it, the machine can carry out an attack even if communication is lost.
The flight range is reportedly four times that of typical Ukrainian kamikaze drones, and at the same time, they are significantly cheaper than American Switchblade or Russian Lancet drones.
Thousands of drones for Ukraine
Ukraine is set to receive 4,000 of these drones. Starting in December, they will be delivered in batches of several hundred per month.
The drone prototypes are already being tested in real combat conditions in eastern Ukraine.
Pistorius stated that he is "very happy that the delivery of these drones equipped with artificial intelligence is already starting" and that Ukraine can use them against important enemy targets, such as command posts.
