With over a million refugees in Rafah, it's common for families to go without food for an entire day, according to the station's reports, based on UN assertions.

Nabil Naser, who fled North Gaza for Rafah, spent the entire day in a bread queue. Speaking to Sky News, he explained that until the bakeries reopened in the city this week, obtaining bread was impossible other than making it on an open fire.
"I swear, I stood in line for ten hours today just to get this bag of bread," Naser told the reporters. "That’s the reality of life in this country. You find just one or two bakeries for the whole of Rafah. We need more. Ideally, there should be at least ten,” Naser added.
Palestinians are now baking bread near the devastated remains of homes destroyed during bombings. "In Khan Yunis, during our evacuation, we all baked bread on an open fire," shared Naser. "We gathered wood as fuel and baked bread on sheet metal," he added.
Since the onset of war and the commencement of a complete siege by Israel, food supplies for Gaza have dwindled to almost nothing, Sky News reports.
