This will prevent weeds from appearing. However, vinegar can also be corrosive to other plants, so before treating the entire lawn, test it on a small patch.
What other tasks should be done before spring? First, remove visible clumps of weeds. Then, proceed to mulch the soil. Cut the cardboard into smaller pieces, and then spread them on the lawn. On this prepared substrate, scatter tree bark or compost.
