Fury vs Usyk: A showdown for the undisputed heavyweight title in Riyadh
On May 18, Tyson Fury and Ołeksandr Usyk will go head to head in Riyadh in what's being hailed as one of the most anticipated boxing matches of the 21st century. Just days before their encounter, the British boxer shared a photo on Instagram, showcasing his rigorous preparation for the bout.

The showdown between Usyk and Fury has been in the making for years, yet financial agreements delayed their clash. It's worth noting that both fighters are champions in the leading boxing organizations, making this match a decisive battle for the title of the undisputed heavyweight champion.
The bout was initially scheduled for February 17. However, two weeks prior, Fury announced he had sustained a deep cut above his eye during a sparring session, prompting the event's postponement to May 18.
In the lead-up to their fight, Fury decided to give fans a glimpse of his current physical condition. Compared to his last fight in December with Francis Ngannou, which nearly ended in a stunning defeat for Fury, he now appears significantly leaner and in top form. His confident smile in the photo suggests he's feeling optimistic about his chances against Usyk.
"The inevitable is coming," Fury wrote, also reminding his followers of the upcoming fight date.
The photo quickly garnered over 150,000 reactions on social media in under a day. Many fans praised the British boxer's impressive form, while some voiced their support for Usyk, predicting a victory for the Ukrainian.
This much-anticipated fight will be hosted in Riyadh and available for viewing through a pay-per-view system on the DAZN platform. The event access is priced at approximately 24 USD, in addition to the regular monthly subscription fee for the service.
