  • 2 eggs,
  • 2 apples,
  • 1/2 cup of cow's milk or plant-based milk,
  • 1 cup of wheat flour,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • cinnamon to taste,
  • two tablespoons of sugar or your preferred sweetener,
  • frying fat.

Preparation:

  1. Start by breaking the eggs into a bowl and beating them together with sugar. Stir continuously as you gradually introduce the milk. Lastly, incorporate the baking powder and the flour, sifting it in gradually to create a smooth batter.
  2. Peel the apples and grate them on a coarse grater. Mix them with cinnamon and divide them into two equal parts.
  3. Blend one portion of the apples into the prepared batter. Roast the other portion in a frying pan with the heated fat.
  4. Once the apples are lightly fried, pour over the batter. Continue to fry till it turns a golden color. Carefully flip the pancake to the other side and fry for a few more minutes.
  5. Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar, or with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
